Valdivilla overlooks Santo Stefano Belbo at 500 Meters altitude above sealevel.
The Italian writer Cesare Pavese has described the landscape surrounding our vineyards at lenght for Santo Stefano was his birthplace.
Ours is the historic region of the Asti Moscato grape which grows on steep hills in stony terrain rich in marine fossils, on hillsides exposed to the sun consistenly producing high quality grapes.

The vineyards owned by LA BRUCIATA winery enjoy perfect exposure to the sun, extended for 17 hectares and produce Moscato, Barbera, Dolcetto and Chardonnay wine.
The vineyards are grown respecting the surrounding countryside, so we do not use chemical pesticides, keep spraying to an absolute minimum, and leave grass between the rows.

Grapes are of excellent quality with minimum allowed to ripen. LA BRUCIATA wines are all first class, and are chosen carefully at harvest, pressed delicately and refined in our cellers.
We followed time honored rules to obtain highest quality balancing tradition with innivation, to produce excellent wines.

Oscar Bosio is the third generation of a wine producing family wich began cultivating grapes in LA BRUCIATA in the first part of the 20th century.
Oscar inherited his love for the vineyards from his father Ermenegildo and his grandfather Amabile and he has continued to farm his vineyards with his ancester passion and skill. The wine produced in these vineyards reflect the care taken in cultivating the vineyards.

LA BRUCIATA as a family run business.
Oscar' wife Graziella Casetta is a precious helpmate and his sons Edoardo and Francesco are being groomed to take over the family business as the forth generation.
